Our Partnership with Nature: A Local Biodiversity Action Plan for Powys
Welcome to Powys County Council's Biodiversity Web Site. These pages are produced
for the Powys Biodiversity Partnership which includes Countryside Council for Wales
and the three Wildlife Trusts in Powys; Montgomeryshire, Radnorshire and Brecknock.
Powys launched its Local Biodiversity Action Plan in September 2002. This ten year
plan outlines the action required to protect 48 of Powys's most threatened habitats and
species. To find out more about biodiversity in Powys and how your council is playing
